I am so excited to get back to my posts for Pet of the Month — basically a little segment where I highlight an animal that maybe did something amazing or heroic, an animal that is up for adoption, or an animal that is near & dear to my heart in some way shape or form.
For November, I really wanted to highlight a senior animal out there that is looking to be adopted. I have been seeing some amazing stories on social media lately talking about people that have adopted senior animals from rescues, and I don’t think this is getting done even enough as it is now. Just because you turn a certain age doesn’t mean you don’t require love, attention and a home. So if you’re around the Michigan area — or would like a drive even — please consider taking a look at Stewart before picking up the brand new puppy from that breeder.
Stewart is a pretty chill 9-10 year old, that has so many boxes checked: housebroke, good with kids, and loves to be with people. What more could you really ask for! He is a larger dog so he may be stronger on the leash, but he is a sucker for a good head scratch. Please check out more on Stewart here, and reach out to the rescue if you are interested in learning more! As always, you can fill out the form here and I will get the information you need on Stewart :)
