The December Recipe of the Month is a super easy appetizer or snack you can make for your holiday parties - peppermint chia drops!
What you’ll need:
1 cup oats
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3T coconut oil
2T honey
2T chia seeds
1t collagen peptides (optional)
2 drops peppermint essential oil
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
What you’ll do:
First, heat up the coconut oil and honey over low heat and stir.
When everything is melted together, remove from heat and add the peptides - allow to cool.
Once cooled, add everything else, form into little golf ball sized bites with wet hands, and put in the fridge for two hours.
These are great little snacks to pop in for a burst of energy or to just keep you moving until the main course. Enjoy!
